In a fun and strange effort to weirdly TIE TOGETHER the stuff I do, I’m offering a very limited special edition SOCK PUPPET PORTRAIT in honor of the publication of '50 Knot for Every Adventure' (just the book is also available through all major booksellers). The portrait is made from my favorite knot!

The Sock Puppet Portraits offered are each presented in charming baroque mini-frames that measure 3.5" x 4.5". Each photograph is carefully printed by me, on archival-quality ink and paper.  I frame each piece, paint their frames (when applicable), and they are finished under a thin sheet of plastic to protect them from those darned elements. The back of each frame is then secured with archival tape.

“50 Knots for Every Adventure” is the sequel to my book from 2015, “50 Knots You Need To Know,” which as it turns out was an unexpected success (apparently The British Royal Navy loves it and has it in life boats? Can anyone send me evidence of this?). It includes 7 reluctantly-defined “essential” knots from the previous book and a whopping 43 new ones. It was really fun to research and work on, and I’m excited to share it with the world and hopefully do justice and have fun with all these new knots.

Like my previous knot book, this one also comes with two little cords so that you can get to tying many right away.
